French/Spanish Summer Camp 2008
Centrally located in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, ISB Summer Camp is a language-immersion summer program open to ISB students and children from the community at large. ISB Summer Camp serves children aged 3-7 years old and runs from from July 7th - August 15th. ISB is excited to offer 2 classes per language during Summer Camp 2008 (see below for details).
Summer camp is conducted in an immersion environment (French or Spanish) and the teachers lead the children in various fun and enriching activities every day based on a select theme for each session (Celebrations around the World, Taking Care of Planet Earth, and City Animal, Country Animal). Class 1 serves children ages 3-4y and is a mixed-level class. Children with all levels of exposure are welcome: from children fluent in the target language to those beginning to learn the target language. Our teachers and staff are experienced in instructing children at all language levels in a fun, caring and effective immersion environment. Class 2 serves children ages 5-7y and is an intermediate-advanced class. Children should be comfortable conversing with teachers and peers in the target language.
Field trips and/or special workshops will be held once a week. Children will frequent Underhill Playground, Prospect Park and use ISB's outdoor playspace for recess and outdoor time. Full-time children must bring their own lunch (refrigerators/microwaves are available). Snack is provided (typical snack includes water, fruit, bread & butter, cheese, crackers).

Class 1, 3y - 4y (3y by April 1st, 2008), Mixed-level French or Spanish
Class 2, 5y - 7y (5 by June 1, 2008), Intermediate/Advanced French or Spanish
SCHEDULE & DATES
Monday-Friday, 9am - 3pm (free early drop off from 8-9; afterschool care available from 3-6pm for $18/day)
Part time: Monday-Friday, 9am - 12pm (only available to Class 1 students)
Session I: July 7 - July 18, Session Theme: Celebrations around the World
Session II: July 21 - August 1, Session Theme: Taking Care of Planet Earth
Session III: August 4 - August 15, Session Theme: City Animal, Country Animal

Full time: $800 / Part time: $500 (available to Class 1 only, 3y - 4y)
