International School of Brooklyn is an independent, non-sectarian, not-for-profit educational institution. ISB is New York's only French & Spanish language immersion school following the International Baccalaureate curriculum. Students at ISB are taught in a nurturing and challenging environment in order to become bilingual, critical thinkers, and global citizens.

Based in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, ISB serves the local and international community of New York City with a private day school program serving Nursery through 2nd grade (in 2008-2009) and community-wide programming, including Language-Immersion Playgroups for toddlers and preschoolers, Enrichment Classes for elementary students, international film showings, and other multicultural events.

Mission ISB is a not-for-profit educational institution providing a preschool and elementary school, as well as enrichment programs open to all community members. The offerings at ISB follow the tenets of the International Baccalaureate, which encourage creativity, critical thinking, adaptability, global citizenship and intercultural understanding. ISB does so in a French and Spanish language-immersion environment. ISB is a cultural resource providing an environment fostering multicultural awareness through activities and events available to the community we serve.
