WINTER SESSION REGISTRATION OPENS DEC. 15th, 2008!!
***Language Immersion Playgroups are meant to expose children to another language, or support their learning in another language. The benefits of language exposure and reinforcement from a young age are endless! Classes are led by native French or Spanish teachers who teach children through structured play and games, songs and music, stories, and arts and crafts. Teachers focus on themes that are familiar to children in order to engage them in an age-appropriate way.
Toddler Playgroups (18m-2.5y) Toddler Playgroups are designed to stimulate children through movement activities, music, rhymes and stories. The teacher will lead the children in structured playtime, movement, songs and games. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate with the child in order to promote the learning process.
Preschool Playgroups (2.5y-4y)
Preschool Playgroups are designed to give the child and parent/caregiver a preschool experience together in a language immersion setting. The teacher will lead the class in circle time, art projects, snack, singing, movement activities and free play.
Language Enrichment Classes (3.5y-6y)
Language Enrichment Classes are designed for older children who are comfortable in an immersion setting. Enrichment Classes are designed to engage students through art projects, stories, movement activities and games in order to build vocabulary and confidence in the target language.
***ISB is a fast growing school with a competitive admissions process. Being a
part of ISB Enrichment Programs (Playgroups, After School, Camp) does not
guarantee admissions into our school day program. Enrichment Program families
join our regular applicant pool when applying for admission to the school day
program.
