As an independent, non-profit school, our operating expenses are covered primarily through tuition fees, fundraising, and auxiliary programs. Tuition for the 2027-2028 school year will be set in January 2027.
A $5000 deposit is paid with all signed enrollment contracts to secure a student’s place at ISB. For families who receive tuition assistance, the deposit amount is adjusted. The deposit is deducted from the tuition balance.
Tuition Includes:
• All school supplies and books
• Classroom activities and materials
• Early drop off program
• School-day field trips for every grade
• Multiday overnight trips in 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th Grades
• Weeklong international trip in 8th Grade
Additional Fees:
• Parents’ Association fee ($100/family)
• Middle School laptop fee ($150)
• After School Care and enrichment classes (optional)
• Middle School Athletics (optional)
• Little Green Gourmets lunch program (optional)
Families that receive financial aid for tuition also receive discounts on After School Care, athletics, and the lunch program.
We offer three tuition payment plans so that families can choose the one that works best for their budgeting:
Option 1: One payment plan
Tuition is paid in full by July 1.
Option 2: Two payment plan
Tuition is paid in two equal installments: 50% is due by July 1 and 50% is due by October 1. There is an additional one-time administrative fee of $50 associated with this plan.
Option 3: 10 month payment plan
Tuition payments are spread over ten months. Payment is due each month starting July 1 through April 1. There is an additional one-time administrative fee of $110 associated with this plan.
Our need-based tuition assistance program ensures that an ISB education is accessible to students from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds and reflects our commitment to building a diverse and inclusive school community. In 2025-2026, ISB granted over $3.4 million in tuition assistance to a third of the student body, helping families at all income levels access the benefits of our inquiry-based, language-rich educational program.
