ISB held a fascinating panel discussion, conceived by Librarians Maria Falgoust and Amy Ribakove, called “Multilingual Minds and Learning Differences.” The event provided space for an empowering conversation for all ISB community members who attended. A special thank you to our panelists Daryaneh Badaly, PhD, ABPP; Middle School Counselor Lily Infante; Assistant Director of Preschool and Lower School Pedagogy Selena Lynn; and Dr. Rachel Ribakove (Amy’s sister!). We also want to thank all of the parents, faculty, and staff who participated in this dialogue and who shared personal experiences, helpful insights, and useful information to support multilingual learners in our community!
