International School of Brooklyn has often been described as a second home. Members of our community build lasting bonds that span New York City’s five boroughs and stretch across the globe. Students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, grandparents, and friends all have a hand in making ISB a welcoming, vibrant, and inspiring place for learners to flourish.
With many opportunities to get involved – whether in the classroom or in support of a shared cause – every member of our locally-grounded, internationally-minded community is able to take part in an ongoing exchange of cultures, interests, and expertise. From parents visiting classrooms as “guest lecturers” to our annual Pecha Kucha evening, everyone in our community benefits from the unique talents and broad knowledge of our faculty, staff, alumni, families, and alumni. International School of Brooklyn is a place where conversations start and ideas are shared – in multiple languages!

The PA holds committees, events, activities, and programs that help to support the school’s mission and initiatives, promote dialogue and the exchange of ideas in the community, and raise parent involvement in school activities.
