This year’s Cultural Week took place from Wednesday, April 13th-Friday, April 15th. During the three days, parents, staff, and community members led daily interactive workshops that allowed our students to discover traditions from other cultures.  Cultural Week has become a favorite tradition at ISB, and it was easy understand why, walking through the halls and observing the wide variety of workshops.  The students were captivated by the sounds of West African music and the smells of Ayurvedic lotion, the tastes of fresh pasta from Frankies 457, and the movements of Capoeira.  All students participated in hands-on activities that they will continue to talk about for weeks to come!  This event was a wonderful celebration and  showcased the rich diversity in our school community.

Here are just a few photos from the many workshops that took place during Cultural Week. Click on the image to view it in a larger size.

Thank you to all of our workshop leaders and assistants for sharing your culture with our students!
